First Edition of the Bahama Village Cookbook - "Our Favorite Family Recipes"
A collection of Recipes for the Benefit of the Children in the Bahama Village Music Program
100% of the proceeds benefit the children in the Bahama Village Music Program, a tax-exempt 501(c)3 charitable organization.
The intent of the program is to provide free music education to the children of Bahama Village residents, a historic community of multi-generational Bahamian Conchs. The primary aim in establishing this program has been to create an effective learning environment and developing a strong sense of community among the young residents. The program offers piano, guitar, violin, percussion, dance, and Steel Pan. Robert Greenidge is a major supporter of the Steel Pan band and plays a concert with the students every year in Key West.
This cookbook is full of great Caribbean / Cuban recipes submitted by old time "Conchs" of Key West....Mango Salsa, Caribbean Conch Chowder, Ropa Vieja, Shrimp Creole, Empanadas, and lots more.
It is the gift that Keeps on giving!
